Located in the heart of the county of Devon, The Old Stable, a newly converted barn, is the perfect place to come and relax whilst enjoying the fantastic views of the rolling countryside.
Just three miles away is the small town of Chulmleigh, offering many facilities including grocery shop, baker, butcher, post office, pubs, Indian Restaurant / Takeaway and Bistro. There is also an 18 hole short golf course, riding stables, and sports centre, with fishing available on our own stretch of the Little Dart River.
Devon offers many attractions. If you want to stay close to home, our 220 acre farm with woodland and the river are waiting for you to explore with an abundance of wildlife, including deer, pheasants and birds of prey. However, for those of you who wish to go further afield, Exmoor, Dartmoor and beaches on the North and South coast are all within easy reach for day trips.
Whatever you are looking for, this is the ideal place to stay, whether it's walking, cycling, driving, or just letting the train take the strain as you enjoy a trip along the pretty Tarka Line to Barnstaple or Exeter.
